The main things I've noticed about the 2.0 TDI (driven a VW Jetta & SEAT Leon) are they are eager to rev more than the 1.9 TDI, but lack the mid range punch of the 1.9 TDI.
1.9 TDI is smooth to drive, while the 2.0 TDI leaves a smile every time you floor the accelerator, thats the way I like to compare the 2 when i drove them. 2.0 TDI is more refined and quieter as well especially when idle. The VW TDI engines’ displacement is comparable to the TSI’s. In contrast to TSI, VW has produced a larger TDI engine, including a 6.0 V12 utilized in the Audi Q7 from 2007 to 2012. The largest TDI available is a 415 horsepower, 4.0L V8 engine found in the VW Touareg and the Audi SQ7. Hello, one of my first proper posts on the forums and I'm here to ask something already. Basically, I'm in a dilemma between the 1.9 TDI (08/58) 5dr Sportback variant in comparison to the 1.4 TFSI S Line (09/09) 3dr. Both cars are fairly close to my house and I'm looking to purchase whichever NRaLBxn.
