1. Run the command prompt as an administrator: Shortcut key win+R→ enter cmd→ enter. 2. Enable and set the virtual WiFi network card: Run the command: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=wuminPC key=wuminWiFi. This command has three parameters, mode: whether to enable the virtual WiFi network card, or disable to disallow.
But my pc often left un lock for personal reason. Everytime i change my fren sure to figure it out. There no security or anything to hidden the password on the windows 10. I try to use other hotspot software but it un stable with windows 10 . Not like while im using windows 7. The mobile hotspot thats come winth windows 10 are great.
Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Learn how. Select the Wi-Fi network icon on the right side of the taskbar, then select Manage Wi-Fi connections ( >) on the Wi-Fi quick setting. For the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to, select Properties next to the Wi-Fi network name. On the Wi-Fi network screen, look at the value next to Security type.
Increase WiFi Mobile Hotspot no internet connection timeout: The time-out value, in minutes, after which Internet sharing is automatically turned off if a cellular connection is not available. This node can be set to any value between 1 and 60 inclusive. The default value is 20 minutes. A time-out is required, so a value of 0 is not supported.
REG ADD : add/modify a registry; Then specify the repository of the registry; /v EnableActiveProbing : indicates the value to modify; /t REG_DWORD : indicates type of value; /d 0 : gives the data to add; /f : to force changes.
